I grew up a picky eater.
Wouldn't touch a shade of green or a raw almond until I came across various health problems, resulted from poor diet. 
I was sluggish, breaking out, suffering from digestion problems, moody and uncomfortable in my own body. I woke up one day and realized that there had to be a root cause as to why I was feeling like this.
I made a complete 180 and started to educate myself on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, changed my ways, and now I feel alive for the first time in my life. I have more energy and happiness than I felt when I was in my early to mid teens. 
I've always been creative in the kitchen, but now more than ever, I look forward to creating something everyday for myself that will only serve me good. 
I made this blog as in hopes to one day help other people learn how to cook healthy, stepping them in the right direction, if not totally curing them from any discomfort or disease. 
I'm no professional, I'm just a college student with a liberal arts degree in my third year hopefully getting me into the nutrion program at Bastyr University.. one of these days...
In the meantime, I'll just cook and google recipes and strange (interesting!) health facts so I can weird you people out, and my friends :)
